The Bromfield Society "200 for the 200th" Membership Challenge
 In anticipation of the Boston Athenæum's bicentennial in 2007, we are proud to announce the John Bromfield Society's "200 for the 200th" challenge – to build the membership of the Society to 200 by the end of 2007.
The John Bromfield Society, now in its tenth year, boasts 110 of the most active and devoted members and friends of the Library. As the Athenæum moves forward into its third century as one of Boston's leading cultural institutions, the Bromfield Society will play a major role in its future. To reach our goal of "200 for the 200th," we need your help.
